krieger Yellow Belt Jan 5, 2009 #1 I recently took apart my katana because I was curious if it was full tang or not. And to my satisfaction, it was. Now it just needs ot be sharpened. Anywho, I'm not sure if it is kanji or more complex Chinese characters. Here is a pic:
