I was a member of the United Kenpo Karate Association, Master Will left us to soon as not long after joining his Assoc. I hosted a seminar with him and became a member school. I have never heard if anyone has taken over or what has happened to other member schools and associates. Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Well, this is a bit of a sad topic for me, actually. Prior to Mr. Will's death, most of the UKKA business was being handled out of the Lancaster OH studio (which is unfortunately no longer in operation). However, after Mr. Will's passing, the directorship of the UKKA passed to Mr. Dave Harris. At that time, I believe he was still in the NY area. Last I heard, he had relocated to Florida. I know he kept the UKKA going for a few years, but as far as I know, he has since moved on and the UKKA is now defunct. I've never had any official word on that, however, and I don't have contact info for Mr. Harris. Would be nice to know, though, for all of us UKKA orphans. During Mr. Will's lifetime, it was a great organization with a wealth of material and resources - its a shame it doesn't seem to have been able to survive his passing.

On a related note, I had lunch with Will Sensei in Atlanta shortly after his legal problems. I was impressed with not only his acceptance of responsibility and willingness to move on but his overall character and behavior. In even way he struck me as a gentleman. I was sad to hear of his passing.
