Israel begins work on Egypt border fence

Goal is to keep out Islamic militants and African migrants

Stand With Arizona (and Against Illegal Immigration)
It will take 2 years to build, and if anything like their existing walls, will be nearly flawless at keeping out Muslim terrorists and African migrants. And at their cost we could wall off the entire AZ border for $1.5 billion - less than HALF the money Congress allocated in 2006 but Nancy Pelosi has blocked for 3 years. The #1 priori...ty for the new GOP House in January must be to re-fund the border wall. And no more of these rusty metal grates with 3 feet between them. Do it Israeli-style: solid concrete, 25-30 feet high, with guard towers (see below)

What you don't see is that the wall is actually a very small portion of the fence. It appears only in areas where Israeli towns are subject to sniper fire. Everywhere else, it's a chain link fence.

I just like the idea of building a 30 foot high, 20 foot wide "Great Wall of America". In 2,000 years it can be a tourist draw.

IIRC, Egypt doesn't complain about the fence. Only the terrorists and their proxies...
