I have noticed this trend more recently on MSN. They report only one aspect of a story to get things going and then when you hear the rest of the story it isn't news at all.
Here is an example that was most recent.

What they don't tell you is that the student was on a suspension because he became disruptive and interupted a teacher's meeting because he was refused "out of hours" additional study time with the teacher. During the meeting he called the teacher's names, and was thus suspended for a day. By showing up and refusing to leave, he is now criminally trespassing because (due to the suspension) had no legal reason for being there.
Not much of a story when you hear more of the facts. So, do you think that the media is NOT reporting news and is just creating drama to sell like the tabloids?
