What a wonderful article - so great to read of both a sport that was unknown to me and to hear of a British team being so feted. I don't know why but it gave me a broad smile to read of their celebrity and how the womens teams attract more media plaudits than the mens; makes a nice change I reckon.

This got a nod of approval from me too:

"I'm alright - c'mon girls, let's do this," says Rosie, captain of the England women's kabaddi team."

Kabbadi is a wonderful game! The Forces have been playing it for a few years now, half of that womens team are in the Army, it mentions one I see though. It's far easier to play than you'd think. http://www.kabaddi-games.com/play.htm

It really is great fun, it's quite a good warm up and fitness training for martial arts. Compliments it nicely.
Rosie Haigh plays Rugby Union for the REME as well. Tough girl.
