People have been very kind about my amateur SCUBA pictures, so I thought I post some of one of our other hobbies. These were taken with several different cameras and on several different trails, mostly by Sue.
These are difficult pictures to get, because it's rarely possible to stop the vehicle and "pose" for the camera. If you stop, you're probably going to be stuck, and there's no fun in winching over an obstacle.

Heh, that's how we sometimes get TO the cave TO get dirty...

But rock-crawling just for the sake of crawling is a lot of fun too!

A few more...
Incidentially, I will say that although it may look like it, I'm not stuck in any of these pictures, nor did I roll the Jeep. :)

The non-Jeep pictures are another expensive hobbie. That's a 700HP supercharged TransAm. I'll try to find some track pictures and put them up too.

Some of the most spectacular sights in the world are here in Colorado. But you cannot see them from the interstate.

A good crawler-driver would never roll their vehicle... if anyone does then they obviously don't know what they're doing and should stick to the highway.
I've a friend who has a toyota land-cruiser decked out for crawling and his license-plate reads H2-Resq on account that he sees more H2's on their sides and backs than any other vehicle out in the crawl-meccas of Southern Utah.
He's had to use his WARN winch more than once to get those over-priced POS's back on four wheels again.

This I cannot agree with, unless you stick to easy-moderate trails. But when you run 10/10 rated trails, it's not so much a matter of IF as it is WHEN. I've run all of the 10/10 rated trails in Colorado, and most of the more difficult ones in Moab too. When you're climbing the falls on Upper Helldorado, bouncing up Potatoe Salad Hill, climbing out of a half full hottub or running Buzzards Roost in Attica, not rolling requires a healthy dose of luck as well as skill.

I've never seen a stuck/rolled H2. I've only ever personally seen one on the trails. For the rest, the owners seem to consider a gravel driveway offroading. :)

Sooooo cool! Love the pics! Thanks for sharing! :asian:

Beautiful country and in one pick I saw some little ones playing and observing, it is GREAT when parents can share their hobbies and passions with their little version 2.0’s. Thanks for sharing the shots Dog.

I could get in touch with my friend and ask him for pics of stuck/rolled H-2's... The H-1's do a lot better because it's what they were designed to do. H-2's were created on a suburban chassis to appease those wanta-be's without the bulky interior of the H-1. Basically a massive street SUV with the Hummer name tacked on to it.
