"This is my rifle, there are many like it but this one is MINE!" :D

There are 301,738,508 people in the United States of America. If everyone in the U.S. lined up single file, the line would stretch around the Earth almost 7 times. That's a lot of people.

The U.S. Census Bureau statistics tell us that there are at least 88,799 different last names and 5,163 different first names in common use in the United States. Some names are more common than others.

There are 49,828 people named John Smith in the United States. There are 1,054 people named James Bond, 114 people named Harry Potter , 506 people named George Bush, and 31 people named Emily Dickinson. However, Johnny Cash (39 people) songs aside there are, statistically speaking, very few boys named Sue.

What about you? How many people share your name? Enter it and find out how many of you there are. http://www.howmanyofme.com/

Your name is Penn State? You should know that we have strict rules here on keeping correct information in your profile. :p

There's only one of me using my full first name - Corwin. There are 8 of me using Cory. What I found interesting was that there are 108,626 people in the US with the first name Cory and 94.44% of these are male. What's interesting about this is that the two other Cory's I've known have been girls and I caught hell in school for having a weird girl name.

Corwin is the name of my favorite character in Roger Zelazny's "Amber" novels. You'll be happy to know that he was basically a good guy and a badass to boot. :)

But Lisa you are in Canada not the U.S. ;) :D

And I would never argue against you being Unique. :)

This is disturbing...after ego surfing on google, I just found that one of my 313 counterparts is a registered sex offender in Tennessee. He is roughly my age, but fortunately we are of different ethnic heritages and he, unlike myself, seems to be able to grow facial hair...I have a hell of a time growing a 'stache.

Another of my namesakes is a PhD in Musical History and teaches for City University in London.

Another is Head of Antestesiology in Dartmouth.

Yet another is a 2nd Degree BB in Maryland somewhere (another that's not me, but getting closer!)

I knew a girl in school who went by Tracy but her real name was Richard :(

Did she look anything like this drawing?

I hear that a lot. One of these days, I'm going to have to check out those books. Anyway, I know there has to be at least one other Corwin in the US, because my mom named me after the doctor who delivered me!
