How many hrs a night do you sleep?

Just wondering how much everyone sleeps I not sure how many hrs a night of sleep we need . I sleep about 9-10 hrs a night is that the right amont does any one know?
 
The "right" amount of sleep depends on the person.

I can get by on 6 hours a night w/o having to "sleep in"

If I get less then 6 hours, it catches up to me w/in a few days.
 
I "only" get about 6-7 hours of sleep a night. However, I know I need more *yawns*

You're still young and growing, maybe you've reached your adult height but bones, muscles etc still mature.. so you will need more sleep than people older than you. Most Teens will sleep what you do :)

As long as you feel refreshed when you wake up.. that's what counts.

so much depends on hours needed, Activity level, how you feel, etc..
I sleep on average 6-7 hours night.. if I stay up later.. I sleep in longer.. if I get up earlier after staying up .. I feel like I have a hangover without drinking!~
 
I work all night and I teach in the late afternoons, alot of time I about 4hrs, kinda sucks
 
A lot of it depends on quality, too. I'll get maybe six or seven hours, but with the kids, it's 3 hours of sleep, followed by 1 hour of awake, followed by 3 hrs of sleep, etc...

I seem to be OK on 6, and I can get as much as 8. Anymore than that, and I end up feeling groggy throughout the day.
 
Like 70 hours a night at least.

I sleep anywhere from 6-12 hours. It helps not having to be up in the morning, I can Laze around in bed till I feel like getting up if I want. Of course, by the time I get home from work at 11pm, Im not ready for bed most days till like 2-3am... so sleeping till 10-11 isnt UNREASONABLE on the days I do it... Its those days I come home at 11 and am in bed by 12... THEN dont get up till 11 that make a guy seem lazy.

I rarely seem to get as much as I want....just like everything else..:D
 
About 5 hours a night in the workweek, about 12 on the weekends. Obviously this doesn't include naps at work.
 
i can run on 2-4 hours, but i work best on 8 or so hours (about 11-7:30am), but I crash mid-day.

My sleep habits are also broken by feeling sick at night sometimes or other things...like random bouts of insomnia...
 
I normally get about 4 hours a day when school is in 'cause I have to stay up and watch my son while everyone else it in school. During the summer I sleep about seven hours a day 'cause my older kids are here to watch their brother. On the weekends I sleep about 8 1/2 to 9.
 
I am in bed for 7-8 hours per night but it takes me a long time to fall asleep. (No jokes! I mean, even if I'm sleeping alone.) Then I sleep soundly. So, I actually sleep for perhaps 4-5 hours per night.
 
*blinks awake* wow.. this is the latest I've slept in ..along time *Looks at clock* 11:20 a.m. when the phone woke me up.*grumbles*
Does it count since I didn't get to bed til almost 5am?
