Hello from Russia

Hello, everybody,
I'm orignially from Russia and is living in the USA now where I started to train in taekwondo (WTF) 7 months ago (blue belt testing in 2 weeks, tested simultaneously for several lower belts to go quicker). MAs were prohibited in Russia until the beginning of 90s, and I guess are still not known or widely available to general public. So, I'm trying to navigate my way through it step by step.
