Hi ya'll!
So I am going back to Taekwondo after about an 11 year absence. I am 25 now, so obviously I was kinda young when I stopped.
I am starting up again because I got caught in a cycle of hating everything about my life and decided I needed to do something for myself that I could be proud of and would be beneficial to my physical and emotional health.
This... was perfect. So I go back next week and I am starting all over again as a white belt (though the instructor does want to see if he can refresh my memory next week on my first day... I don't think it will do much good).
Only one thing is making me nervous. While I eat pretty good, I have spent the years since highschool mostly spent sitting on my butt in front of a computer and have gained alot of weight. I'm very out of shape. And so I am full of tummy twisting nervousness about what I can even still do. eek!
So... that's me and my story and that's why I'm here!
