So what's the game plan in different positions?
Now by this I don't mean "When mounted, go for a armbar", that's skipping out all the important bits. Instead, HOW do you go for the armbar? Offensively, what are you trying to do from different positions?
For example, from mount I might try to get the elbow away from the body, force the arm across the face using my body weight, grab his wrist behind his head, secure that position. THEN I can look for that armbar, arm triangle, take the back, Punch him or whatever else I happen to like.
And even before that, I want to know how you go about getting that arm away from the body. Forearm choke? just pry it away? Punch till they cover up?
For beginners to grappling / MMA this is a good way to get started on creating a game plan and start being a little more effective
So from the following positions, how do you set up your attack, and what do you do from there?
1 - Seperated and standing.
2 - In a Clinch
3 - In there guard
4 - Them in your guard
5 - Top side mount
6 - Top Mount
If you got a few things you like to do, pick the one you feel works the most reliably for you.
