the short version: french pilot realized a hijiacker didn't speak french, so he announced his plan to disable the hijacker over the p.a. in french. cut a hard and bumpy landing so the hijacker fell down and the crew and passengers did the rest.

Clever! Makes me wonder if the hijacker didn't realize something was up if he hears a whole bunch of French words going on and not understanding them? I wonder if he thought the words being said were, "Ladies and Gentlemen, please comply with the guy and nobody gets hurt??"
