Leonard Garcia looked like a giant in the cage facing little Manny Gamburyan. Having a huge height advantage isn't always the path to victory. The 5-foot-8 Garcia struggled all night finding range and more importantly Gamburyan's head. He never landed any shots of significance. Garcia's punches got wilder as the fight went along allowing the 5-4 Gamburyan to score several takedowns and pull out a unanimous decision win 30-27, 29-28 and 29-28 in WEC's featherweight division.

Garcia fought from a distance the entire fight and never tried to put his punches together. Gamburyan had it figured out by the third and actually dropped his hands, dancing in front of Garcia (13-5, 3-2 WEC). The Texan took the bait late in the fight and was controlled for the final two minutes securing the win for Gamburyan (10-4, 2-0 WEC).
