this is a clip from a seminar i took with grandmaster dionisio canete and guro dong cuesta at the sdma academy in 1991. i am wearing the black pants with the red stripes down the side. the purpose of the seminar was to introduce us to the rules of wekaf. it was also to help us learn to how to officiate the contest as well. this was my first experience putting on the suit and doing full contact! it was a bit overwhelming. here i was fighting against victor rivera, my senior at sdma. victor is an outstanding martial artist and lives in wellington florida.
