Footage from an introductory Bartitsu seminar at the new (and still under construction) Forteza Fitness and Martial Arts studio in Ravenswood, Chicago.
Forteza is a full-time WMA and fitness school; brick walls and a high timber ceiling enclosing 5000 sq. feet of training space, including both modern exercise equipment and a "gymuseum" of antique equipment. Additional features including a WMA shop/reception area and a library/lounge will be added over the coming months.
Classes include historical fencing (Fiore's longsword and various rapier styles), antagonistics (19th century - Bartitsu, classical pugilism, catch wrestling etc.), modern self defense and personal training.
