guro = teacher. is guro tagalog for teacher/instructor?
mataas ng guro = doesn't that mean highest teacher/instructer (aka grandmaster) I just made this one up as I know that mataas means high/tall.
punong guro = I asked a friend what it meant and she said it was like principal of the school. would that mean chief instructor/head of the school?
tuhon = I know it's a very high rank, but what exactly does it translate to and what dialect is it? ilocano?
if you can think of any other titles and rankings and which dialect they're in , I'd really appreciate it.
thanks,
paul
