Heavy Impact Weapons

Baseball bats or similarly heavy impact weapons are a great training tool.If you do not already do this,try practicing all your blocks and techniques with a baseball bat, (being on the receiving end that is) as you will need to use different distancing and timing when using a lighter weapon, such as a rattan stick.
IMHO,it is also a great way of getting in to the practice of 'looking' at different weapons when training, thus giving you that little bit more mental preparation.
