Here is an article on more government in action.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110510/ap_on_re_us/us_fema_reclaiming_aid

From the article:

The agency is asking Van Fleet and thousands of other Americans who were victims of natural disasters to return more than $22 million in government aid, acknowledging it mistakenly made payments to many people who were ineligible.
FEMA is required by law to recover improperly spent money, but most of the people who were helped say they used the cash years ago, and they don't want to be financially punished because of the agency's errors.

***wait till they replace your hip and decide you were ineligible.***

Yeah I find this outrageous that they said it was mistaken... how can you call giving money to a family that lost everything in a natural disaster a mistake?? And that they're expected to pay it back within 30 days?? Jeez.
Something seriously wrong going on around here ... dats for shure!

Seems like FEMA has not yet recovered from the Katrina disaster...and I don't mean the storm...(but what do you expect, they hired a guy who was fired from a horse organization...)
