The temporary use of regular police to pat-down students a school in Santa Fe drew further attention to the order of a federal judge that TSA screeners must be present at key school functions. The school, already using a checkpoint, now must use TSA after a lawsuit was filed against other security personnel at the school who allegedly groped the bare legs of two sisters.

I'm disgusted.

:lfao:

That's putting the fox in charge of the hen house.

I think If I were at that school, I'd be planning 'anti prom'

Umm...what am I missing here? Since when does TSA attend highschool proms??? Now, I can see the schools using metal detectors, security officers and/or police officers, etc, but TSA....

Just a quick note. I merged both threads together, as they were on the same topic.

My take is, the previous security company touched the girls inappropriately, so the federal judge decided to improve the quality of the groping and ordered the professional molesters into action.

Next thing ya know, they'll be bringing in their big screening machines. Not only will they be molesting them, but they'll have nudie pics as well.

Manned by child pornographers armed with 36 gb flash drives for later viewing... after all not all high-schoolers are over 18.

More seriously, once you hop off the hyper-partisan sites, you might notice that the demand was for a certified supervisor, to keep the private security company from excess, not for the TSA to run it themselves. If the TSA was a competent and credible agency, I would expect that they would able to grant certification that a particular person has been properly trained in the art of minimally invasive search, and passed a background check like that a teacher has to pass(at least in some states). However, as the TSA is a bunch of incompetent boobs set up by an incompetant boob, whatever Honorable Judge made this decision is a moron. Or possibly even a Moran.
