I think the "publicity stunt" was a truly lousy idea, but otherwise, I'm kind of happy to see a tiny fraction of this massive industry going to a good purpose.

Well, the stunt did what it was supposed to--got lots of publicity. However, I think that their insistence on going to jail rather than pay the fines is dumb: they're making plenty with their project to pay off the fines, but they ain't gonna be doing much business in jail, you know?

I just hope they don't decide to send any contributions to the ELF.

Correction: because of the way ELF's set up, I dont think you can send monetary contributions. Except maybe their press front.
