VIOLENT CRIMES: Prior to having enhanced carriers in 2010 Mississippi had 8,003 violent crimes and they increased in 2011 to 8,036, but in 2012 with all the new Enhanced carriers that rate dropped to 7,786.
MURDER: We had 208 murders in 2010 and that number increased to 239 in 2011 but with enhanced carriers around, that number dropped to 220.
RAPE: There were 927 rapes in 2010 which dropped to 865 in 2011 and further dropped to 822 with enhanced carry.
ROBBERY: There were 2,779 cases of robbery in 2010 that dropped to 2,492 in 2011 and with enhanced carry the figure dropped to 2,284.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: This is the only category where there has been a continual rise from 2010 at 4,089 to 2011 at 4,440 and up to 4,460 (less than a 1% increase in 2012).
