Decided to try this yesterday. My first real multi-color batik design. I was limited to colors I had on hand (because I am impatient). Still a little sloppy, but I get better at controlling the wax each time I do it.

Overall, I dyed the gi completely three times. Kelly green first, then dark green and then Oxblood Red. Where all three colors mixed on the main part of the gi, it turned out a really cool, deep maroon with a green offset stitching.

The main color for the Gi is really neat i like it alot.

What's that critter you drew on there?

Nice work though, the end color is really neat!

Too bad you are impatient...you can actually with a coupe of different colors and several wax apications and removals create a rainbow of colors.
The frame color would be black tho, or close to it. ^_^
(and you have to have a mixing chart...)

That's Cthulhu, granfire.

nevermind, I googled...it's a nerd thing! <3

should I know him?

:). Not necessarily. From books written by hp lovecraft about 100 years ago. Scary stories. Cthulhu is the ultimate evil... Do a quick image search for him. Some cool paintings.

My last house came with a complete Sci-Fi library...sadly I donated all of those to a book drive after Hurricane Katrina (I hope they are filling library shelves now, or have been worn out by avid readers)

Seems like I missed out on this guy.... :)

You are right! Very scary!!!

I am actually seeing the resemblance between this guy and the 'faceless' on WoW....as I said, a nerd thing. ;)
