Check this out: Chessboxing.

Apparently, the competitors play chess for a few minutes, the box a round after that, and back to the chess board. The fight ends after someone gets a checkmate or gets knocked out. If there is no checkmate or knockout, the match is decided on points in the boxing ring.

I think this is pretty awesome, but this will never fly in the states. American audiences are just too lazy IMHO.

What do you think?

I think there's already a discussion going about it here, unless that's something different.

It's still cool Kacey. if only there was a kickboxing/bridge version..... ohh well.

I think peopel have too much time on their hands. Eventually they are going to get so punch drunk that they wont be able to play chess anymore. HAHA

Yo Adrian , Bishop takes Pawn !!!

Bah, this is for weaklings. Now Kumite/Twister, there's a real challenge...

:uhyeah:

What about Iron Groin / Scrabble ? Anyone up for it ? I will play but you can go first :p

Kumite/twister does sound like fun... but I was never really a twister player. I'll pass on Iron groin though.

Chess how boring.

It should play to the crowd such as beer drinking and boxing whom ever gets drunk or punch drunk first looses!

My humble example:

:highfive::highfive:
