They sound like the subculture that goes by the term (forgive me if it offends, but it's the word used) "Wiggers" in these parts.

Every society has a subset of underclass that is aggressively ignorant and proud beyond reasonable proportion to their accomplishments. We have different names for them but it's pretty much the same thing.

We have a different name for those here in the US. We call them Douchebags.
