Mail delivery across Canada came to an abrupt halt Wednesday after the corporation responsible for running the nation's postal service suspended its operations and locked out striking workers. Canada Post suspended operations late Tuesday night. In a prepared statement, the company said 12 days of rotating strikes have racked up $100 million in losses for the corporation.
The union is protesting the corporation's plan to cut medical and pension benefits.

ok...1 question.
I thought Canadian's got their medical from the government.
??

When they talk medical as part of a benefit package it generally deals with dentists, optometrists, prescriptions, semi private room vs. ward, and other services not covered under the Provincial plans. Some private benefits have massage, chiropractic and naturopath

The union folks where doing rotating strikes, so after a week of that, the Post office just locked the doors on them.

Ahhhh, so while on strike, the union got the mail delivered....the post office now shut sh** down....

the unions are liek so totally bad....

:D
