It really was refreshing to listen to someone from the fashion industry speak so openly on these issues.
 
Another good one - one that resonated with me for, like the speaker, I had a bad accident that damaged something that, for me, defined who I had been up to that point i.e. generally being the smartest person in any given room.

I had a 190 Linguistic IQ that dropped, after a couple of high energy impacts to the head, to around 155. My numerical IQ wasn't as high to start with but that too dropped from about 175 to 140-ish (different tests gave different outcomes on that one, I think because my brain was in the process of trying to 'rewire' around the damage). The numbers are approximate because this was twenty-five years ago.

So, I really empathise with having a feeling of 'powerlessness because you know you are 'less' than you were. I reckon I might have to give her simple 'posturing' experiment a try and see how it turns out :D.
