The other one is obviously in jest, though I do believe there are some grains of truth as well. As for this video, everything good about the sport side of BJJ can be seen here. Awesome to see the love and respect they have for each other.
With my job, I've been given the opportunity to drop into a handful of BJJ schools around the world. Even when I was a white belt, it didn't matter. I was a "brother" and welcomed to the family. The BJJ world has some amazing camaraderie.
based on my experience, more so than other arts. i've dropped into a couple different schools, and everyone there is just humble as hell and wants to learn.
