Iced Earth - A Charge To Keep
[yt]yeSyBBqxGL0[/yt]
[Music / Lyrics : Jon Schaffer]

I must believe that what's a memory now
Was the only way
To know that all of those you love
Were just stripped away
And now, if I'm the one to lead us
Into a brand new day
At peace I must be with the brutal truth
To truly lead the way

Please God give me the strength to lead
It's my charge to keep
Make the sorrow the fuel I need
It's my charge to keep

And now we must wipe the tears away
Gather up our inner strength
The loss of those we can't replace
Will bring about their fate
And though many lifetimes it will take
To bring justice on our way
We must never falter, we must never fail
This is our charge to keep

Please God give me the strength to lead
It's my charge to keep
Make the sorrow the fuel I need
It's my charge to keep

Not something I really should be listening to at work. Not much heavy metal going on here. :D

Excellent voice. Will have to watch the rest later ;)

Another video, studio version, with footage from 300

(note: video contains some nudity towards the end)

Interesting imagery - not really my style of music, but an interesting video.

I can't view YouTube from work. Is Ripper Owens (ex-Judas Priest and the guy who Rock Star was loosely based on) still singing for them?

Looks like he left in Dec. 07. Pity, I liked his voice.

Judas Priest? Come on Kreth, was there ever a more cheesy band? Where is your taste fella? :p

Hey, I've seen both 'Priest and Gwar in concert and they both but on a great show. I have to admit that Gwar's music is pretty retarded, tho'
