40 years ago today...

July 27, 1979, I stepped into the yellow footprints at MCRD, San Diego, to begin the journey to earning my title as a US Marine.

40 years has got behind me quick as a wink, but I still remember that night when I started what would become a defining moment in my life. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
