Seeing everyone else intro I figured why not.
I am Elaine, just joined the board a few weeks ago.
I am out in Southern New Mexico, working as a hackers of sorts for the gov....got to love driving to a missile range to work everyday....:mp5:
I earned my first dan in EPAK from a school out in CT...in August 1998 - 8/98, went to college, and started training again now that I am out and have $$$. I am studying at an AKKA school which follows Mr Packer's teaching of Kenpo, which if I understand correctly he was a student of Mr. Parker's who basically changed a few details and added a few things to have a style of his own.
I am liking the new school, I get to bring in some of the ideas from my old school that I've seen work and thus seem to contribute a lot. :boing2: Been training for 2 months now, I'd say it is probably 70-80% similar to EPAK. Just joined the instructor's staff at the new school, which is cool, cause I miss teaching especially the kids.
But anyways, that's me, just another computer geek martial artist.
Peace.
