thats not the correct way to sprawl, if the shooter was to sit through the sprawler would end up under side control or mount very quickly. i hope your not teaching people this.
Actually it is already after I stopped his sprawl by utilizing my biceps on the inside of his shoulders. This is a transitional movement position to the back and I have already moved my left arm to facilitate getting there. You see you need to realize that a photo does not always tell the whole story.
