BF bought us second row seats to The Smithereens last night. The venue has generally been gracious enough to allow cameras, so I brought my P&S along for the show. A couple shots from the evening:

The Smithereens haven't traditionally toured with a keyboard player. But vocalist Pat DiNizio recently had surgery on his wrists, preventing him from playing guitar for awhile. Andy Burton from the John Mayer Band was brought in to add to their live shows. The mutual respects the musicians had for each other was quite evident.
